Department for information services development and IT

Department for information services development and IT is a structural unit of FTS of Russia and performs the following basic functions:

• provides implementation of new technologies and software tools to boost effectiveness of the adoption of tariff decisions of FTS of Russia;
• provides implementation of new technologies and software tools to boost effectiveness of control over the adoption of tariff decisions by regional bodies of tariff regulation;
• provides development and reliable operation of data-processing and communication systems of FTS of Russia and regional bodies of tariff regulation;
• provides support for internal and external users of information and technical resources of the Federal Tariff Service;
• ensures development of reliable and uninterrupted functioning of the Integrated Information and Analytics Service (IIAS) of FTS of Russia;
• ensures correct use, development and structuring of the integrated data repository, support and development of application databases and other information resources, functional and industrial calculation and analytical subsystems and modules in IIAS;
• provides control of integrity and structural correctness of databases, interacts with holders of external electronic databases;
• provides information security of IIAS, control of the relevance of rights of access and monitors access to restricted information resources;
• implements organizational and technical measures to protect information resources and databases of FTS of Russia and regional bodies of tariff regulation.
